What We Do
Establishment Background: BERI was founded in 2024, approved by the Beijing Municipal Government, and jointly established by Tsinghua University and Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital to bridge translational gaps between research and clinical care in vision health in China and globally. Core Team: BERI is led by Professor Tien Yin Wong and brings together a top-tier multidisciplinary team from Tsinghua University, including Academician Dai Qionghai (computational optics), Professor Qian Feng (pharmaceutical sciences), and Professor Zhang Chun and Professor Wang Yaxing (clinical scientists), fosters cross-disciplinary integration and mutual advancement between research and clinical practice.
